The Liquid Ammonia (NH3) Tank Semi-Trailer is a specialized, heavy-duty pressure vessel transport trailer designed strictly for the safe, high-volume road haulage and regional distribution of Anhydrous Ammonia (Liquid Ammonia, Class 2.3 Toxic / Class 8 Corrosive Gas). Engineered in full compliance with pressure vessel standards (such as ASME Section VIII Div 1/2, ADR, and GB150), the tank shell is fabricated from normalized, high-tensile fine-grain pressure vessel steel (Q345R / Q370R / 16MnDR) subjected to 100% X-ray non-destructive testing (NDT) and post-weld stress-relieving heat treatment (PWHT) to eliminate stress corrosion cracking (SCC). Featuring a low center-of-gravity cylindrical design with internal dished anti-surge baffles, it is equipped with a lockable steel safety cabinet housing pneumatic/hydraulic emergency shut-off valves, Rochester magnetic level gauges, dual safety relief valves, and liquid/vapor phase connectors. Paired with 3 commercial heavy-duty axles, air ride or multi-leaf mechanical suspension, and WABCO ABS/EBS pneumatic braking with Roll Stability Support (RSS), it provides maximum containment safety, structural durability, and road stability.
